ages 3 through Adult
Nancy Hall
holds a B.S. in Music and Christianity with
a concentration in piano performance from
Houston Baptist University and did graduate
studies in pipe organ at Southwestern
Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.
She maintains memberships in Music Teachers
National Association (MTNA), National
Federated Music Clubs (NFMC), and Early
Childhood Music and Movement Association (ECMMA).
She holds the Permanent Professional
Certification with MTNA. She is
certified by Early Childhood Music & Movement Association at Level III and formerly as a Master Teacher with Kindermusik International. Because of her experience as an early childhood specialist and her love for young
children, Nancy loves teaching the very
young beginners as well as advanced and
adult students. She has taught piano lessons in The Woodlands, TX since 1988.
Nancy is Past
President and current Board Member of Conroe Music
Teachers Association, local chapter of MTNA.
Nancy has taught private lessons since she was a university student. She has served as church
organist or pianist in churches since the
age of 16. She is the former owner of Hall's
FamilyMusik and a well known early childhood music and movement school. Nancy's biography is
included in Who's Who in American Women.
Nancy receives
great joy teaching music to students of all
ages and has seen several students come up
through her program and go on to
major in music and become music educators
themselves. Several of her students have
earned the Theory Scholarship from Texas
Music Teachers Assoiation for gold
medals in Grades 1 through 12 in Theory. Her students have
consistenly scored Superior and Superior
Plus ratings in the National Guild of Piano
Teachers auditions, the Gold Cup Festival,
festivals and contests of Conroe Music Teachers
Association, Certificate of Excellence from the Piano Proficiency Exam. She has had many winners in the
Betty Clampitt Piano Contest of CMTA and also the Multi-Period Piano Competition. Her
mission is to inspire students to become
well rounded musicians in piano with good
reading, theory, ear and performing skills
so they can achieve whatever they aspire to
achieve, whether it is a lifetime of piano
pleasure or a career in music.
